Humaware’s Prognostics Gateway™ is a set of essential tools that provides the interface between data from HUMS and other condition monitoring systems and asset management systems. These tools identify changes in HUMS data and then provide a forecast of the resulting change in maintenance demand. This enables logisticians to manage a maintenance support network in an agile manner.
The Humaware Prognostics Gateway™ consists of:
- The CFAR-Autotrend tool that robustly identifies events in the HUMS data to provide reliable and robust prognostics
- The Diagnostics Knowledge Base which produces an automated diagnostic process for maintenance actions.
- A proprietary Unified Prognostics model
- The Maintenance Demand Forecaster Tool for MRO which provides a forecast of future maintenance demand.
The Prognostics Gateway™ requires that the HUM system is capable of providing condition indicators either via health or usage data to isolate the range of defects on individual components that compromise their future airworthiness.
These tools can be inserted into asset management systems or accessed via the web on a pay to use basis to provide the agility needed to meet the requirement of the new performance based contracting models.
Humaware has developed a version of the Prognostics Gateway™ Maintenance Demand Forecaster technology into a data driven desk top tool, known as InsightAM. Senior Management can use InsightAM to evaluate the impact and viability of agile maintenance strategies on their MRO networks.
