Humaware possesses extensive experience in data-driven remote condition monitoring. Our predictive algorithms were originally developed for monitoring the condition of helicopters; highly complex machines where the characteristics of remote condition monitoring data is affected by environment, operator and operational mode. The algorithms were rigorously validated by the the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), among others. Over the years, the software has been transferred into rail and developed further in a number of RSSB/Innovate UK funded research projects working with Network Rail and London Underground.
Humaware’s Predictive Analytics exploit pre-existing or new sensor data using state-of-the-art software to produce actionable information in the form of meaningful remaining useful life forecasts.
In 2019, Humaware was bought by EKE-Electronics; a Finnish supplier of intelligent train automation and onboard data systems. EKE-Electronics has developed a cloud based remote diagnostic software for train fleets, called SmartvisionTM that is deployed in projects in Singapore, London Underground and in Australia. SmartVisionTM differs from other solutions for online monitoring and predictive analytics available on the market by its extremely accurate and reliable data-driven adaptive anomaly detection technique, developed by Humaware.
